Swapping or replacing Classpads during an activity

If you are experiencing technical issues with a Classpad or it has a low battery level, you can replace it with another one while the activity is in progress.

Step 1

Go to the Device panel in the Classwise app. Then find the Classpad you want to replace, for example Classpad #5, and hover over it. Click the three dots icon next to the Classpad name and select Swap Classpad.

Step 2

Remove from the docking station the Classpad you want to use as a replacement, then click its icon. A swap icon will appear around the outline of the Classpad.

Step 3

Confirm Classpad assignment swap.

The Classpads will swap numbers and LED light patterns. You can then place the replaced Classpad back in the docking station.

Important!

You can only carry out the swap when both Classpads are out of the docking station.
