How to create a picture-based quiz

A picture-based quiz is a great way to test knowledge in a visually engaging format. It works particularly well with younger children, but can also be an interesting tool for older classes.

Step 1 – Choosing the quiz type

On the home page, click the Create a project button in the top right corner of the screen.
The Content creator window opens, where you can select the type of activity you want to create.

In the Select the type of content you want to use section, select Picture-based question.

Step 2 – Adding images to a question

In the top box, type your question.
In a picture-based question, the answers are in the form of images or GIFs.
To add an answer, click the Select a file button.

Then select the appropriate image or GIF. If the image library doesn’t have a suitable image, you can upload a file from your own computer.

Step 3 – Adjusting the images

Once you’ve selected an image, you can adjust how it’s displayed. Then click Save.

To mark the correct answer, click the white circle in the bottom left corner of the answer tile.

Complete the remaining answers in the same way. You don’t have to use all the answer fields to add variety to your quiz.
